A GlycoMIP Education & Outreach Event
The GlycoMIP Summer School offers an immersive, in‑person experience for students interested in glycomaterials science. The program includes classroom lectures, laboratory demonstrations, hands‑on laboratory activities, data collection and analysis, and social events. On‑campus room and board were available, and a block of hotel rooms was offered at the Inn at Virginia Tech. All activities were within walking distance. Content was tailored to graduate students, junior faculty, and junior scientists in industry or national laboratories.
GlycoMIP staff advised students on travel arrangements and were available throughout the program. Travel grants may have been available for room and board assistance. Interested students were required to complete an application by the February 15, 2022 deadline.
